The Nashwauk Area Community Foundation will award two $1,000 scholarships for the 2025 school year. One will go to an applicant attending a traditional college, and the other to an applicant attending a nontraditional or trade school.

Scholarships will be awarded in two increments: Apply 1/2 to the current/upcoming semester and 1/2 to the following/next semester.

Judging criteria are as follows in order of importance:

1. Community Volunteer Service – greatest emphasis
2. School Community Activities and Work Experience – equal importance
3. Goals and Aspirations
4. Applicant Appraisal
5. Grades will only be used as a tie-breaker

Please complete the application in its entirety. A thorough and legible application will increase your chance of being awarded a scholarship. The appraisal page of the application is to be completed by a non-relative adult who knows you well and can attest to your character and experiences.
